Aitu was greeted by Jeff, on the thirty eighth day
Becky, Sundra, Ozzy, and Yul stood at the ready
The details of a challenge, Jeff would then relay
For an unknown duration, they must rock steady

Out of the water, four small, steel perches arose
Every perch was in proportion to each one's feet
Atop each perch, the survivors will strike a pose
Three, of four tribe mates, will go down in defeat

Upon every perch, four cords have been attached
Every fifteen minutes, they'll give one cord a pull
The perch will narrow, as a section is unlatched
Making it harder for Becky, Sundra, Ozzy and Yul

Immunity will be given to the last player to remain
Jeff stressed it was an important challenge to win
He then informed the four of a change in the game
Hearing three will vie for a million made them grin

Atop each small perch, a survivor was then placed
Into a squatting position, Yul lowered himself down
After fifteen minutes, they would narrow the space
The first sections gave way, with a splashing sound

Thirty minutes later, the second sections hit the tide
At minute forty five, down fell section three, of four
They grimaced, as their feet shifted from side to side
Becky took a spill, and was in contention no more

After one hour, a fourth and final section fell away
They stood on less than half the size of a postcard
Atop the tiny perches, Ozzy and Sundra would stay
For Yul, this precarious situation proved too hard

Into the water he tumbled, with apparent dismay
Over to a platform, and Becky, Yul would swim
Yet, his idol compass ensured him one last day
As Yul said prior, it was a good position to be in

Two and one half hours after the battle had begun
Both Ozzy and Sundra were showing signs of strain
Sundra took a slip, and her necklace bid was done
With that, Ozzy won the final Immunity of the game

Back at camp, a jubilant Ozzy was feeling "pumped"
He called it "crazy", having finally reached the end
Lamenting her defeat, Sundra's shoulders slumped
For with the jury, the following day she may spend

Ozzy and Yul discussed the Tribal Council ahead
Neither wished to see Becky, or Sundra, depart
Ozzy said a tie-breaker should be forced instead
Since Aitu's four had played it fairly from the start

Yul had a talk with Becky, regarding Ozzy's proposal
That Ozzy would implement the plan, Yul was certain
To Becky, Yul said the hidden idol was at her disposal
She'd be safe when the time came to pull the curtain

Becky now had a tricky course of action to evaluate
She considered how using the hidden idol might look
In the eyes of the jury, she felt it wouldn't look great
Still, Becky preferred not to exit the islands of Cook

Sundra spoke with Yul, regarding a Tribal surprise
She questioned if anything unforeseen might occur
Yul replied, "no", which brightened Sundra's eyes
That the idol would not come into play, she'd infer

When they left for Tribal Council, Yul was conflicted
His thoughts of using the idol were riddled with doubt
The ramifications of doing so could not be predicted
For there was no guarantee he wouldn't be voted out

Jeff greeted Aitu, the dogged and tenacious final four
The tribe was seated, and the jury of eight entered in
Jeff remarked that for the first time in "Survivor" lore
Three players would have a chance to pocket a million

Jeff said Yul and Ozzy appeared safe from a losing fate
As Immunity would keep their torches burning bright
It was bad news for their tribe mates, Jeff would state
For either Becky, or Sundra, would be exiting that night

At the previous Tribal, said Jeff, Sundra was anxiety free
She appeared unconcerned that the idol was still in play
On this night, that very idol would put Yul in the final three
Jeff asked Sundra if she felt the same as she did that day

Sundra said she'd taken a risk, allowing the idol to remain
She replied, "for the good and the bad", one must prepare
And if, per chance, her tribe should write down her name
"I'm willing to live with how things are", she would share

Jeff asked Ozzy if any camp discussions had taken place
As to whom, between Sundra and Becky, deserved to stay
Ozzy said since playing equally had always been the case
A tie-breaker would see, "the cards fall where they may"

Jeff said Yul could have passed the idol along, on the sly
He added, of that possibility, one woman may be unaware
To the tie-breaker plan, stated Yul, they were standing by
Yul said Aitu was pleased to have a solution that was fair

Jeff told Sundra that Yul needn't admit to an idol transfer
If Yul gave it away, he could still, "say what he just said"
Sundra said she'll be a, "big sucker", were that to occur
Adding, that had he done so, it would be on Yul's head

Jeff asked Becky if she had given the idol any thought
Becky said, "sure", but that to possess it was a worry
Since it would come back to bite her, she ought not
For accepting it would look bad in the eyes of the jury

Jeff asked Yul what it was like to be in his situation
His options were many, with the power he'd parlayed
Yul's ambiguous response was open to interpretation
He'd been loyal in a game where compromises are made

After Jeff said, "time to vote", one name each one wrote
The tally tied, and Jeff asked if either had an idol in tow
Becky and Sundra revealed they were in the same boat
Yul gave it to no one, so to a tie-breaker they would go

The two women would engage in a customary ,"do or die"
A tie-breaking, "fire making challenge", would commence
On survival lessons learned, Becky and Sundra need rely
Or, as of that night, their survivor days will be past tense

To Sundra and Becky, fire making materials were supplied
They had flint, steel, kindling, and coconut husks as well
For entry into the final three, the two women then vied
The passage will be granted to the first to ring her bell

They struck their flint, but failed to get a spark to catch
Thirty minutes later, they were still trying to spark a flame
After an hour elapsed, into each hand was placed a match
Unfortunately, the matches only led to more of the same

Ninety minutes into the challenge, Sundra bit the dust
To her dismay, her supply of matches were all ignited
For Becky, it appeared as though it might also be a bust
Yet, after many attempts, a promising flame was sighted

Becky nurtured the hopeful flames into a blazing fire
The fire burned through a rope, and a bell was rung
Becky was overjoyed, despite what had just transpired
For with Ozzy and Yul, in the final three, she'll sit among

The task before them now was to bid Sundra farewell
To their loyal mate, each extended a warm goodbye
Onto her torch's flame, the dreaded snuffer then fell
After which Sundra exited, with her head held high

Day thirty nine dawned, in colors of yellow and red
With coconuts, the final three toasted their fate
A feeling of exhilaration infused every giddy head
Just as on day thirty one, they were feeling great

Becky thought of the jury, and what they may ask
She was glad to have opted against taking the idol
For skating along, Becky felt they'd take her to task
Negating a coattail riding impression would be vital

As Ozzy stood by the sea, a small canoe appeared
Two island ladies paddled up to Aitutonga's sand
Ozzy called over Yul, and together they cheered
For a celebratory feast, they soon had in hand

Of Becky's whereabouts, the two were unsure
Ozzy and Yul urgently called out Becky's name
After a while, they decided not to wait for her
Ozzy saw her absence as symbolic of the game

When the final Tribal Council tally is calculated
Becky's name, said Ozzy, would not be called out
For Yul, and for himself, the votes will be slated
To Ozzy, it was fitting Becky was out and about

Becky joined them, after having let out a scream
The feast was eaten, and the champagne imbibed
For Yul, ending the game with Becky was a dream
Together, from start to finish, they had survived

Yul had played with as much integrity as he could
Though he felt, "in a lot of respects", he had failed
That it was a game, Yul hoped, the jury understood
Perhaps they'd forgive him for the coffins he nailed

To the jury, Ozzy had a point he wished to make
He felt pride in representing himself, and Mexico
Later, a final trip to Tribal, the three would take
They boarded the canoe, and off they would go

Jeff welcomed the survivors, and in they filed
After placing their torches, seats were taken
Next came the jury, now completely compiled
The power now shifted to the nine forsaken

Jeff said with an opening statement, they'll start
Yul went first, saying he steered the game's fate
No other player had more effectively taken part
For it wasn't luck that allowed Aitu to dominate

Yul admitted he committed a few manipulations
Still, he had remained loyal to those loyal to him
He earned his spot through strategic calculations
Yul was proud of his game, and felt he should win

Becky said she came into the game with a plan
It was a social game she had played from day one
Aligning with those who by their word would stand
Put her in a position where the game could be won

Ozzy said, from the start, he'd been the, "underdog"
If it weren't for his fishing, he would be long gone
To survive, he had to be perpetually water logged
His actions and reputation, Ozzy laid his game upon

Jeff called forward Nate, as the questioning began
Nate started with an assessment of Ozzy and Yul
Ozzy was, "the warrior", and Yul, "the boss man"
With both strategies Nate appeared to be cool

Why Becky deserved to win, Nate wished to know
Becky said she'd been a part of every decision made
Nate asked Becky if she had been running the show
Becky said, within Aitu, no, "puppet master", played

Jenny followed, and to Yul, a question was directed
She asked which, of two elements, mattered more
Should the physical, or the strategical, be perfected?
Yul said social strategies would most affect the score

Parvati stepped forward, and Becky was addressed
She wondered if Becky possessed the desire to win
That she'd have taken the idol, was Parvati's guess
Becky said it wasn't worth the trouble she'd be in

Rebecca asked for something she did not know
Ozzy and Yul, she wished to better understand
Yul was glad an Asian representation he'd show
Same with Ozzy, who said, "this is a Mexican"

About his mates, Adam asked Ozzy to talk trash
Ozzy replied to a work ethic, Yul did not aspire
Next, Ozzy had to give tribe mate Becky a lash
She rode coattails, and could not start a fire

Candice warned Yul to give a one word reply
"Yes", or "no", had he been playing the jury?
Yul replied, "no", but let a few words slip by
Saying he, "broke the rules", made Yul worry

Brad asked Ozzy to name a challenge in his life
An experience that proved difficult to overcome
The pain of abandonment cut Ozzy like a knife
Yet, it is still a place of love that he comes from

A smiling Sundra stood before the final three
"My people", she said, what had they learned?
Ozzy said, "pure love", was in great quantity
Becky claimed to no longer see the clock turn

Yul said many insecurities he'd overcome
His confidence grew the longer he stayed
Sundra told Aitu that she loved everyone
She was glad, with them, she had played

Lastly, Jonathan faced off his former allies
Telling Yul politics just might be his thing
Yet, if his, "half-truths", are also, "half-lies"
Then in his words, the truth would not ring

Yul told Jonathan that it was a game, after all
In regular life, manipulation was not his way
Those to whom he was not loyal took the fall
Yet to his allies, loyal and true he would stay

Jonathan called Ozzy entitled and arrogant
Ozzy was like, "a prince", in Jonathan's view
He asked how a million dollars might be spent
Continuing an education is what Ozzy would do

With the questions now asked, the vote was nigh
The jury members cast their ballots, for one to win
With eight votes read, it appeared there may be a tie
A highly tense situation, Ozzy and Yul were both in

A last vote revealed that the tie had been broken
One survivor, over nineteen others, would rule
He jumped up, upon hearing his name be spoken
The winner of 'Survivor: Cook Islands' was Yul!
