Zhan Hu awoke refreshed, on day thirteen
For Sherea, 'twas her best night's sleep yet
The prior evening, the last of Dave was seen
Over camp, said she, a relaxed mood had set
Peih-Gee noticed Frosti appeared a bit down
Concerned, she asked him, "are you okay?"
Many challenge defeats explained his frown
That losing was "boring", Frosti would say
Frosti believed the tribe should be strong
Now that Dave had been cut from the fold
But strength was aplenty, over at Fei Long
They'll remain tough to beat, Frosti foretold
For the tribe, Peih-Gee had a recommendation
She advised their efforts be one and the same
With her tribe mates, Sherea sensed alienation
Sherea looked forward to a change in the game
Later, Jaime and Erik went for a dip in the lake
To the Garden of Eden, Erik likened the setting
In a flirtatious exchange, the two would partake
Appreciative responses, they both were getting
To a smiling Jaime, "I like you", Erik expressed
In return, Jaime quietly replied, "I like you, too"
That he'd yet to cover the bases was addressed
For Erik's trust in her, Jamie shared her idol clue
At Fei Long, chores occupied James and Denise
A fishing net's catch was thoroughly inspected
The net provided the tribe with a few bites each
James liked the enthusiasm Denise projected
James and she, said Denise, had a "connection"
Between them, a similar work ethic was shared
For James, Denise represented near perfection
They returned to camp, and a meal was prepared
A bit later, a boat came sailing up to their shore
The man they welcomed handed the tribe a note
Over the mysterious letter, Fei Long would pour
New tribe mates will be boarding that very boat
The note Todd read requested a choice be made
Two circles, around two names, must be drawn
Fei Long gasped, as the message was relayed
For to Zhan Hu, the five names would belong
"Two warriors", they were instructed to select
Around Frosti and Sherea, a circle was placed
Competitively, each had earned their respect
Confusion, on Aaron's face, could be traced
A befuddled Aaron asked, "What's the catch?"
From Fei Long, said Amanda, two will be chosen
In yellow, she added, James and Aaron will match
Fear gripped Aaron, leaving him temporarily frozen
"It's not all about strength", he half-heartedly replied
That it "pretty much" was, Jean-Robert would claim
In resignation, James and Aaron collectively sighed
Knowing they'll likely be playing under a new name
A different man, and boat, sailed ashore at Zhan Hu
Having Aaron to vote off would cause quite the ripple
James was resoundingly named, as the second of two
Fei Long, said Peih-Gee, the "crazy" twist would cripple
Peih-Gee, and everyone, believed it was their lucky day
Zhan Hu's numbers climbed to seven, to Fei Long's five
It had not occurred to them that two would be sent away
A re-energized Frosti saw it as Zhan Hu's time to thrive
Upon the lake's horizon, a familiar boat was spotted
The tribe expected James and Aaron, once it landed
But the anticipated players, the tribe was not allotted
Fei Long's selections, instead, Zhan Hu was handed
Seeing her name within a circle made Sherea scream
Frosti realized he, too, had been claimed by the twist
After tearful goodbyes from their now former team
They boarded the boat and were promptly dismissed
Elsewhere, a boat was collecting Aaron and James
"Messed-up" momentum had Aaron's head in a spin
Fei Long bid farewell to the two with circled names
"Through the system" must work James, yet again
It was hard for Jean-Robert to witness James depart
For Denise, his leaving was quite the shock, as well
Jean-Robert suggested Fei Long seize a head start
A torch snuffing for the newcomers, he hoped to sell
Sherea, followed by Frosti, was the order they'd peck
Despite an agreement, Jean-Robert doubted their say
Courtney, Todd and Amanda might aim for his neck
For himself, Jean-Robert called it a "God awful day"
As they sailed, the two boats passed one another
They were returning to their original destinations
The four switched survivors waved to each other
On land, both tribes awaited their appropriations
Zhan Hu greeted James and Aaron, upon docking
The reconfigured tribe was given a basket of food
James did not care for Zhan Hu's manner of talking
He preferred Fei Long's "misery", to their jolly mood
At camp, a selection of fruit and nuts were ingested
They washed down the unexpected meal with wine
Around camp, said James, his time will be invested
To himself, said Aaron, many a chore he will assign
In addition, they would give their all in competitions
Peih-Gee regarded their intentions as self-serving
Still, the two put Zhan Hu in the best of positions
Wise contemplation, the advantage was deserving
At Fei Long, "here they come" was ruefully uttered
Upon hearing Jean-Robert, all eyes were on the lake
To a stop, a boat carrying new mates softly sputtered
Seven hands, to Frosti and Sherea, extended a shake
At the prospect of building bonds, Todd was excited
To a new campsite, Sherea and Frosti were escorted
Over an identical food basket, the new tribe delighted
A new start, for Sherea, the surprise switch afforded
At Zhan Hu, she'd been slated for the chopping block
A wrong turn, her plans for conserving energy took
As they dined, a different game plan she would talk
Sherea told her new tribe mates she'd gladly cook
Frosti saw his new home as a "dangerous place"
Out of his "comfort zone", he would need a plan
A sense of unease registered on Frosti's face
To play on, Frosti intended to do what he can
On day fourteen's morn, Jean-Robert was astir
He arose early to prepare breakfast for the tribe
From his fellow Fei Longians, sarcasm he'd incur
A sudden shift in his work ethic they would deride
For Denise's assistance, Jean-Robert would ask
In using the fishing net, he needed her expertise
Upon hearing his request, she took him to task
Their "leader" could say "please", said Denise
"I am not the tribe leader", Jean-Robert asserted
That he wished not the description, he would add
"Then stop handing out orders", Denise blurted
Hearing the drama made Sherea and Frosti glad
Over at Zhan Hu, four survivors were wading
Aaron tried to work the tribe's alliance of three
James' demise, he hoped they be contemplating
As James posed a threat for individual immunity
In Aaron, though affable, Peih-Gee did not trust
Plus, for Frosti and Sherea, she was concerned
Peih-Gee felt a discussion with Jaime was a must
She had in mind a way for the tables to be turned
In a private conversation, the women conferred
Peih-Gee advised throwing the upcoming bout
That two challenges be thrown, she preferred
It ensured Frosti and Sherea not be voted out
Sending Zhan Hu to Tribal Council was the aim
As risky, Jaime regarded Phei-Gee's proposition
Still, two strong players could be exiting the game
Which would be a help, in individual competitions
In addition to the benefits mentioned, said Peih-Gee
There was another reason for two bouts to be thrown
If Frosti and Sherea go, they'll merge at seven to three
Jamie, Erik, and herself, would soon be heading home
An Immunity Challenge was scheduled for day fifteen
Jeff called them forth, and before him the tribes stood
Todd was questioned about the additions to his team
He said having Frosti and Sherea on board was good
To Aaron, Jeff asked, "was it a good move for you?"
It put James and he on the chopping block, he'd say
Their survival depended upon victory for Zhan Hu
The particulars of the battle, Jeff would then relay
To awaiting platforms, two from each tribe will swim
Alternately, into the water, the team mates must dive
Two underwater cages each held twelve discs within
The objective was to release every disc from inside
The removal of bamboo poles will set the discs afloat
Through each cage, the poles held the discs in place
Once amassed, the discs will be transferred to a boat
Back to shore, with discs in tow, the divers must race
A dozen discs will be collected by the three that remain
Atop the mat alongside a puzzle board, the discs will fall
For each disc, a section of board was one and the same
Safety will be secured if they're first to correctly place all
For Fei Long, the divers were Frosti and Jean-Robert
Erik and Aaron would plunge the depths for Zhan Hu
Jeff yelled, "go!", and into the lake the four would tear
In the green colored water, a beeline each man drew
The first to be diving were Jean-Robert and Aaron
From below, red and yellow discs soon appeared
Once both stood on a mat, Erik and Frosti dove in
From their confines, more discs were de-speared
It took the duos four dives for the discs to be freed
In a race back to shore, it was Zhan Hu out in front
Erik and Aaron were first to land, widening the lead
An exhausted Jean-Robert let out a tortured grunt
The discs were seized by Zhan Hu's remaining three
Upon a mat, eleven of the dozen discs were plopped
Intentionally, a twelfth disc was misplaced, by Jaime
On the far side of their puzzle board, it was dropped
Frosti and Jean-Robert came ashore, with boat in tow
The discs were gathered by Todd, Sherea and Denise
Off to a puzzle board, Fei Long's trio would quickly go
They joined Zhan Hu in the placement of every piece
Shortly, by their opponents, Zhan Hu was overtaken
Except for James, the tribe appeared lost in confusion
In placing discs, his mates were continuously mistaken
That Peih-Gee and Jamie cared not, was Jeff's conclusion
Fei Long locked a twelfth disc into it's designated space
Upon the board, the Chinese Zodiac was represented
One, from Zhan Hu, will have a torch snuffing to face
To the champions, the immunity idol was presented
Zhan Hu, said Jeff, gave "the worst performance yet"
Tribal Council, Jeff added, was now their destination
Back at camp, Peih-Gee and Jaime had nothing to fret
Which only fueled James' ever growing consternation
By James, the two women were verbally chastised
In the challenge, said he, each had dropped the ball
Jaime and Peih-Gee's giggles were met with surprise
In what had transpired, James found no humor at all
The two women stepped away, for a dip in the lake
Aaron asked Erik if the ladies always acted that way
James said their childish behavior he could not take
Erik thought it best to hear what the two had to say
"Go ask them", James and Aaron said, in return
Jaime and Peih-Gee saw the three men in a huddle
Erik walked over, to ask about their lack of concern
His question could hardly be categorized as subtle
"What the hell was that?", Erik would flatly inquire
He was told the challenge had been purposely lost
To merge with even numbers, the three need aspire
Erik worried what his trust in the women might cost
Later, Jaime and Erik discussed the events of the day
Erik hoped them remained trusted allies, throughout
Jaime reassured Erik she would have it no other way
Now, it was a question of whom they should vote out
Jamie stated it was Aaron they should send packing
For with Fei Long, ties most likely had been formed
Respect for Zhan Hu, however, James was lacking
A bit later, Aaron thought it best to be forewarned
Aaron asked Erik who'd be heading home that night
Erik said it appeared James' was the man of the hour
Aaron decided James was to be the name he'd write
In the hopes of preventing impressions turning sour
To Tribal Council, on night fifteen, Zhan Hu reported
Jeff asked Jaime why they chose Aaron and James
By doing so, said she, Fei Long would be thwarted
Strength dictated the decision to circle their names
Jeff asked Aaron if the switch brought good news
It had not, he replied, as it put them in the minority
For them, the last challenge was frustrating to lose
Over their own fates, they no longer had authority
It appeared, Jeff remarked, that Jamie felt just swell
At Tribal Council, it was a mood he rarely observed
James said having the numbers allowed her to chill
To the day's challenge, Jeff's questioning swerved
Jamie was asked about her flippant participation
She said Zhan Hu's original five need protection
Jeff asked if it was an act of intended decimation
"Yes sir", admitted Jamie, offering no correction
Jeff requested Peih-Gee explain the thinking
What good could come from a challenge loss?
They hoped to merge in a boat that wasn't sinking
For Sherea and Frosti, said she, Fei Long may toss
Jeff told James opting to lose must be frustrating
James said they can oust him, if that be that case
Jeff asked if it was a desire to leave he was stating
James said he wished to continue on in the race
Aaron was asked if he had a comfortable feeling
He believed he'd be staying, Aaron would reply
Jeff said one comrade's fate they'll be sealing
The time for the casting of ballots was nigh
Despite opportunistic seeds that were sewn
The majority saw to it his prospects lay barren
