It was too close for comfort at Fei Long, on night six
In need of warmth, Jean-Robert attempted to cuddle
His agenda, Courtney, Amanda and Leslie would nix
With the snoring big guy, they cared not to huddle
Courtney viewed his heat seeking tactics as ridiculous
At "seven pounds, I can't keep myself warm", said she
Their first target, said Leslie, was all too conspicuous
It'll be Jean-Robert, were Fei Long to lose Immunity
On day seven, fishing tools helped James nab a crab
Among the tribe, a debate on the proper recipe ensued
Courtney said the crab would make the rice less drab
Along with James, she was in favor of making a stew
Aaron felt otherwise, though he eventually relented
As crab catcher, to James' preference they'd adhere
Fei Long's "slow learning curve", James lamented
Stated he, "I feel like Crocodile Dundee out here!"
Over at Zhan Hu, Dave was in perpetual motion
He was busy at work, scrubbing their tribal boat
Peih-Gee believed Dave did not grasp the notion
He needed rest, not additional mud bricks to tote
That Dave kept himself "in check" was his reply
When Peih-Gee expressed her concerns to Dave
He'll be ready, said Dave, when a challenge is nigh
By efficiently expending energy, energy he will save
Apparently some of Peih-Gee's advise did wear off
For in Zhan Hu's sparse shelter, Dave was napping
But a tribal discussion, he was all too quick to scoff
Acting as if Zhan Hu's every move needed mapping
Dave arose, and promptly took charge of the situation
He sarcastically provided a brick the wok would require
Future tribal consequences escaped his contemplation
Dave should be happy, said Frosti, that he still has fire
Fei Long and Zhan Hu met up with Jeff, later that day
For this challenge, brute force they will need to exert
In "another physical confrontation", Jeff would say
They'll do battle for a splendid reward of "comfort"
On opposite sides of a large, outrigger style boat
Three, from each tribe, will have to take a stand
Their objective is to be the last tribe still afloat
As they engage in a round of "hand to hand"
Into the lake, the opposition must be tossed
A point value of one they will either win or lose
Two planks, between the boats, can be crossed
Dependent upon which strategy they so choose
It'll be women versus women, and men versus men
Sitting it out for Fei Long were Courtney and Todd
A prize of camp comfort will be secured with a win
Six women were the first players to depart the sod
Atop one boat stood Jaime, Sherea and Peih-Gee
For Zhan Hu, they'll try not to get pushed around
Opposite them were Denise, Amanda and Leslie
For Fei Long, each will try to stand their ground
Denise struck first, darting quickly across a plank
Jaime and Peih-Gee saw to it her effort was all wet
Next, it was Amanda's team effort that would tank
Sherea and Jaime ensured a dunking she'd get
This left Leslie to battle Zhan Hu's female force
That it be three against one was not in her favor
Leslie was handily tossed overboard, of course
A win, Jaime, Sherea and Peih-Gee would savor
Zhan Hu was two points shy of claiming Reward
Frosti, Dave and Erik will now stand side by side
Completely naked is how Dave chose to board
From everyone's eyes, he left nothing to hide
Directly across stood James and Jean-Robert
Along with Aaron, they'll try to even the score
Aaron and Dave crawled atop a plank, with care
Dave decided to make a move, and off he tore
In one fell swoop, Dave took Aaron out of play
After a hard tackle, they both landed in the lake
James made sure things didn't go Frosti 's way
A soaking wet Frosti was left in James' wake
Erik was now battling Jean-Robert and James
Jean-Robert tackled Erik, and both took a dive
After which, Jeff restated the women's names
With the score in a tie, the ladies looked alive
Sherea pushed Leslie right out of round three
She quickly fell asunder, under Sherea's wrath
Amanda's head was crunched by Jaime's knee
Sherea and Amanda were next for a cold bath
Fei Long's Denise was left to do battle with two
Peih-Gee and Jaime shoved Denise into defeat
A second point had been awarded to Zhan Hu
In round four, the men would again compete
Erik and Aaron had zeroed in on one another
While Dave issued taunts, in James' direction
Shortly, James and Dave battled each other
Their teammates felt they needed protection
Suddenly, all six were wrangled and tangled
Amid the struggle, Dave took a watery tumble
Near the edge, Frosti and Jean-Robert dangled
Both men fell in, removing each from the rumble
Singlehandedly, Erik faced two from Fei Long
James and Aaron had to pry him from a pole
Erik took a plunge, ending the frenzied throng
Both tribes were a point away from their goal
The women stepped aboard the boat, yet again
Jeff said, "...go!", and the six women converged
Soon, every somebody had someone else pinned
Into a blob, three initial duels had quickly merged
As Sherea tried to keep Denise from gaining ground
She had one foot on Amanda, pushing her to the brink
Though around her foot, Amanda's arms tightly wound
With Sherea's shoe in hand, Amanda landed in the drink
Next, Leslie took a tumble into a lake the shade of green
Denise was the final Fei Long woman still hanging tight
Unfortunately for her, Zhan Hu still had an intact team
A first challenge win for the tribe was clearly in sight
Denise was outmatched, and off the deck she fell
"Zhan Hu wins Reward!", was Jeff 's exclamation
A lantern, kerosene, pillows, and a blanket as well
Will lend comfort to their sparse accommodations
Zhan Hu cheered upon hearing a tarp had been won
Lastly, rope was included in the highly coveted spoils
Cheers and hugs were extended over a job well done
They'd earned a final reward, said Jeff, for their toils
The tribe was to choose one from the opposing tribe
Leslie was named, and to Zhan Hu's side she'd move
With the six, she will temporarily ingest and imbibe
It didn't take long for Leslie to find a familiar groove
Back at camp, the winners delighted in their loot
Leslie told Zhan Hu she was happy they prevailed
That spirits were high, despite two getting the boot
The kidnapped Leslie saw as something to be hailed
The captors and the captive decided to take a swim
Both Frosti and Dave hit the water via a fanciful dive
Zhan Hu hoped to learn what shape Fei Long was in
From Leslie, insider information they'd subtly derive
Leslie was asked about Todd and Aaron, respectively
That Todd called her "mama", she shared with a grin
Aaron, revealed Leslie, became their leader electively
It was a position Aaron had initially placed himself in
Peih-Gee felt Zhan Hu attained valuable information
She said insight can be gleaned in a "happy, nice way"
Leslie wondered if others shared her belief in Creation
Finding three Christians among the tribe made her day
Leslie felt a sense of unity with Erik, Sherea and Jaime
In her life, Jesus Christ will always remain the pinnacle
At Fei Long, said she, there was nary a Christian to see
Leslie categorized the religiously disinclined as "cynical"
Over at Fei Long, Jean-Robert and James were conferring
Jean-Robert said either Leslie or Courtney, they'll choose
It was Leslie, aka "Sister Christian", James was preferring
He believed the tribe was buying into Leslie's good news
Regarding prayer, James believed those that do the most
Do so because they know they're headed straight for hell
Apparently, a prayer to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
Is indicative of a life that must not stack up all too well
Jean-Robert asked James if his strategy was in place
James said the two of them, and Denise, need to stay
Todd, confided Jean-Robert, had done an about face
A previously formed bond had dissolved, he'd say
That Courtney exit was the preference of Jean-Robert
From Fei Long's "weak link", they had nothing to fear
As James and Jean-Robert talked, they were unaware
Their discussion, Todd and Courtney would overhear
Todd whispered to Courtney, "I'll strangle his ass"
As Jean-Robert and James continued conversing
Courtney wasn't amused by what next came to pass
She cared not for what their mouth's were dispersing
Jean-Robert told James he was sweet on Courtney
Winning a million would be sweeter if he won her, too
James would disregard what Jean-Robert would decree
Courtney, said he, was the more productive of the two
Todd and Courtney eavesdropped in bemused wonder
Said Courtney, "I'll never sleep near those two again"
For Todd, their carelessness was quite the blunder
As "trash", both were slated for the garbage bin
On day nine, at Zhan Hu, Leslie awarded a clue
To Jaime, a small wooden tube was presented
Leslie claimed it was the reciprocal thing to do
For Jaime, the abduction worked out as intended
In private, she read a hidden idol's secret scroll
It advised Jaime to forego below and look high
Casually about camp, she'd purposefully stroll
Until the next Immunity Challenge was nigh
"Come on in guys!", Jeff would once again yell
By yellow and red mats, the tribes would stand
Four puzzle bundles, four tribe mates must fell
One at a time, they'll need take an axe in hand
A "chopper" will chop through wooden beams
Once they're smashed, ropes will be revealed
They'll need a chop, by heavy handed means
A puzzle bundle is what the wielding will yield
When a bundle has dropped, it'll be collected
Back to the start, each chopper need speed
To puzzle poles, their attention was directed
The bundle's contents, these poles will need
Inside each bundle, four discs will be found
Each disc, onto a pole, they will have to stack
In the correct order, each disc must slide down
Two tribe mates hope they'll need not backtrack
Each of two poles sat atop a "heavy stone base"
Once all discs are in place, they'll give the pole a tip
The hauling of a weighty load, the two will then face
Those first across the finish will have Tribal to skip
Jeff told Fei Long they'd need to sit two players out
Leslie and Denise would be observing from the side
Courtney and Jaime sped off, after Jeff let out a shout
With a fury, Jaime made it clear she had no time to bide
A yellow bundle of puzzle discs crashed to the ground
Jaime deposited the bundle, and off Peih-Gee sprang
On Fei Long's beams, Courtney continued to pound
As a second Zhan Hu bundle would no longer hang
"How are they doing this!", a weary Courtney asked
For her, chopping was nearly an insurmountable feat
Fei Long coached her, in regards to handling the axe
Meanwhile, with bundle in hand, Frosti made a retreat
Frosti returned to Zhan Hu with bundle number three
Erik began a final round of splitting wood at the seams
For chopper Courtney, the objective was taking eternity
A fourth bundle fell, once Erik demolished his beams
Zhan Hu collected the bundles, and headed for their pole
The puzzle pole assemblers would be Sherea and Dave
Among Fei Long, a few frustrated eyes continued to roll
As a depleted Courtney's situation grew evermore grave
Jean-Robert told her to saw through the revealed rope
In dropping a bundle, Courtney would finally succeed
Still, with bundle number one's rope, she'd yet to cope
Elsewhere, Dave and Sherea needed to pick up speed
Using the sawing technique, a first bundle dropped
To Fei Long, an exhausted Courtney would return
Onto an empty red mat, the first bundle was plopped
A second puzzle bundle Amanda would quickly earn
Dave and Sherea's puzzle assembly was slow going
As Aaron applied to his beams a thorough whacking
Aaron finished the task, once the ropes were showing
Dave and Sherea continued to struggle with stacking
James took off for puzzle bundle station number four
He tore through the chore without a moment to waste
The tremendous lead Zhan Hu had was nearly no more
Jean-Robert and Todd began the puzzle in great haste
No sooner had they started, and the situation changed
Sherea and Dave's teamwork suddenly kicked into gear
They figured out how the discs needed to be arranged
Shortly thereafter, the thud of a puzzle pole they'd hear
The heavy pole, Dave and Sherea would then drag
They crossed the finish line, and Zhan Hu rejoiced
The happy tribe had their first Immunity in the bag
For Fei Long, a date for Tribal Council was voiced
Back at camp, the defeated appeared in shock
Courtney's hands were blistered and bruised
Her pitiful performance not a one would mock
Still, three more days she may well be refused
Leslie was asked about her Zhan Hu sojourn
She mentioned the Christians, counting three
Who they might be, the others wished to learn
Leslie spoke the names Sherea, Erik and Jaime
Fei Long was not happy details had been spilled
Leslie had shared something about each and all
She told Aaron that as their leader he was billed
Leslie, said Aaron, had set him up to take the fall
She denied this, saying Zhan Hu already knew
A kidnapped Jaime had shared that information
At the upcoming Tribal, Aaron knew what to do
Leslie would be slated for immediate extrication
That she couldn't be trusted, Aaron concluded
Bonds may have formed, in Leslie's time away
Elsewhere, Amanda and Todd quietly colluded
Todd preferred it to be Jean-Robert's last day
With Aaron, Todd and Amanda decided to confer
Offered up were Courtney, Leslie and Jean-Robert
In ousting Leslie, advised Aaron, they must concur
For Todd, a pressing decision was still up in the air
At camp, a bit later, all but two were sitting around
Courtney and Leslie were away, on a walk-about
Jean-Robert said one of them was homeward bound
Either Leslie or Courtney needed to be voted out
Fei Long embarked on their first Tribal Council trip
Jeff greeted them, and eight torches soon burned
Pointng out their strong start was beginning to slip
Jeff asked Jean-Robert if he was at all concerned
Jean-Robert expressed concern for Fei Long's fate
Despite having the three strongest men in the game
The reason, he stated, for the tribal defeats of late
They had the two weakest women, just the same
Jeff asked Jean-Robert who the two women were
"Courtney and Leslie", was his matter-of-fact reply
The perception, said Courtney, really bothered her
Decisions would rely on what physicality may belie
It was the reality of the game, Jean-Robert stated
That they were the weakest links was simply fact
Liabilities to the tribe stronghold must be abated
Sugar-coating was never to be Jean-Robert's tact
Leslie shared an observation about Zhan Hu
What lacked in muscle was made up in heart
It was tribal unity that carried them through
Without heart, Fei Long will soon fall apart
Jeff asked Jean-Robert if he was concerned
Jean-Robert said the tally may well be for him
After a rocky start, he felt a corner was turned
However, it was an unpredictable seat to be in
It was time for eight votes to be put into play
That Fei Long was in need of heart, said she
Six might well have sent the last of it away

It was tribal unity that carried them through
Without heart, Fei Long will soon fall apart

After a rocky start, he felt a corner was turned
However, it was an unpredictable seat to be in

That Fei Long was in need of heart, said she
